And it starts... Dániel Perlaky's 16 piece show introduces viewers to one of the earliest echoes of the murmur collective's aesthetic direction. The images are the results of a beautifully raw and intense, sleepless 36 hour journey to Marfa, deep West Texas desert. Dániel felt a magnetism from the sleepy-abandoned city pull him closer to the details - to remember and note absent visions - often eliciting the remark: "What the hell you takin pictures of? There's nothing there." The images emphasize a balance of form, texture, colour and composition as well as the inevitable temporality of human vision. The act of seeing is an elaborate and complex series of still imagery that, when individuated, display a beautifully unique identity.
